The Base (Stereo) Add-an-Amp harness kit for RAM audio systems is designed to add a 6-ch aftermarket amp/DSP to the RAM module (cannot be replaced). Harness installs in between the RAM connectors, keeping all OEM iDrive features intact while splitting the inputs and outputs to interface with aftermarket amp/DSP. Aftermarket amp/DSP must have a minimum of 6ch high-level input (up to 20V) capability with turn-on signal sense.

Base (Stereo) Add-an-Amp harness kit for RAM audio systems includes:

  • 42-pin RAM bypass harness
  • RAM 6ch signal output interface cable
  • RAM 6ch speaker input interface cable
  • Input/output cables labeled for easy identification and wiring
  • No remote, no power or ground wires included

This product does not work with iDrive 6 systems.

Warranty of harness is one year from the purchase date. Harness kit is designed for experienced DIYers. Professional install suggested. Support limited to harness install; no support given to aftermarket parts not sold with harness kit.
