The Base (Stereo) RAM harness with LOC is designed to add an aftermarket amp to the 205w OEM RAM to power either a trunk sub or/and the OEM/aftermarket underseat woofers.

The Base (Stereo) Add-a-Sub Harness for RAM audio systems is available in 3 versions:

  • OEM RAM 42-pin PnP T-harness and underseat woofers interface harness connector only – no LOC included
  • OEM RAM 42-pin PnP harness, underseat woofers interface harness connector and a LOC 50W input max, signal sensing remote Line Output Converter (LOC)
  • OEM RAM 42-pin PnP harness, underseat woofers interface harness connector and a LOC 100W input max, signal sensing remote Line Output Converter (LOC), 24″ RCA cables

The LOC accepts the 8V+ peak outputs of the OEM RAM and provides remote turn-on via signal sensing. Remote turn on active when LOC detects an audio signal from OEM amp, turns off when no signal is detected. 

This product does not work with iDrive 6 systems. 

Please note that this harness/LOC does not and cannot replace the OEM RAM. RAM module located at the rear left side of the trunk.

The Base (Stereo) RAM harness with LOC is designed to add an aftermarket amp to the 100w OEM RAM to power either a trunk sub or/and the OEM/aftermarket underseat woofers.

Please note that harness/LOC will not work if Base (Stereo) RAM is defective/malfunctioning. No returns/exchanges/refunds due to defective OEM RAM. 

Warranty of harness and LOC is one year from purchase date. Harness kit is designed for experienced DIYers. Professional install suggested. Support limited to harness install; no support given to aftermarket parts not sold with harness kit.
