The i4 Top HiFi (Option 688 – Harman Kardon) Booster+ Add-an-Amp harness kit for Booster module is designed to add a 3-ch aftermarket amp/DSP to the Booster module to power OEM woofer and OEM Subwoofer speakers. The harness install in between the Booster (3ch – woofers and subwoofer), keeping all OEM iDrive features intact while splitting the inputs and outputs to interface with aftermarket amp/DSP.

Aftermarket amp/DSP must have a minimum of 3ch high-level inputs (up to 30V) capability with turn-on signal sense.

The i4 Top HiFi (Option 688 – Harman Kardon) Booster+ Add-an-Amp harness for Booster module includes:

  • OEM Booster 35-pin PnP harness
  • Booster 3ch high-level signal output interface cable
  • Booster 3ch high-level signal input interface cable
  • Input/output cables labeled for easy identification and wiring
  • No remote signal wires included

The harness install in between the Booster (3ch – woofers and subwoofer), keeping all OEM iDrive features intact while splitting the inputs and outputs to interface with aftermarket amp/DSP.

Installation : unplug Booster, plug harness in between. That is all.

The warranty of the harness kit is one year from the purchase date. Harness kit is designed for experienced DIYers. Professional install suggested. Support limited to harness install; no support given to aftermarket parts not sold with harness kit. Aftermarket amp must be wired directly to battery of vehicle. Aftermarket amp power cables not included.
